We work together with communities and other organizations to make a difference. We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, no matter their abilities.
Learn MoreThe Sauti Yetu Foundation has donated eleven (11) wheelchairs to people with disabilities in Kasulu Town Council on October 18, 2025. The goal is to empower people with disabilities to engage in social and economic activities, including education. The wheelchairs were provided by the foundation with funding from the Workers' Compensation Fund (WCF) in a ceremony held at Bogwe Secondary School hall. This initiative is seen as a new hope for beneficiaries who were facing challenges accessing assistive devices. Speaking during the handover ceremony, the Kasulu Town Council Director, Vumilia J. Simbeye, who was the guest of honor, said non-governmental organizations play a significant role in contributing to community development and that the council is willing to continue working with them. He also called on development stakeholders, including individuals, to continue supporting people with special needs. The wheelchair donation ceremony is a result of the 2025 disability assessment program in Kasulu Town Council.

Speaking during the event, the Acting Director of Our Voice Foundation, Mr. Raphael Philipo, encouraged the students to continue studying diligently while also urging them to live with love and solidarity. The event was attended by various leaders, including a member of the Non-Governmental Organizations Council in Dodoma region, Mr. Issaya Silungwe, accompanied by leaders from the Dodoma Rotary Club and the Evergreen Environmental Foundation. Speaking on behalf of the students of the school, one of the students expressed gratitude to the Sauti Yetu Foundation and Binti Salama Foundation for showing a unique spirit of caring for the students.
